The LEC is back, and fans are excited to see how all ten of the teams have been able to adjust to the new meta changes as well as Fearless Draft as a whole. Following its debut in the Winter Split, many fans criticized the overall format of the LEC, as best-of-one (Bo1) matches seemed counter-intuitive to the Fearless Draft aspect of competitive play.
Regardless, a brand new season of professional League of Legends is underway so let's see how the teams performed during Week 1 of the 2025 LEC Spring Split.

2025 LEC Spring Split Week 1 Standings

Here are the current standing of the LEC Spring Split as of Week 1:
Standing | Team | Result |
1st | BDS | 1-0 |
- | TH | 1-0 |
- | KC | 1-0 |
- | G2 | 1-0 |
- | VIT | 1-0 |
- | SK | 1-0 |
7th | FNC | 1-1 |
8th | RGE | 0-2 |

- | GX | 0-2 |
So far, MKOI and GX are struggling to keep up the pace and show their dominant nature as they did in the first weeks of Winter. As always, RGE looked incredibly weak, despite showing signs of life in one single game, and FNC once again were marked by a gigantic throw against SK. Although it is still the first week of the split, we are starting to get a better understanding of which rosters are able to make use of Fearless Draft and have better synergy overall.
With more best-of-three (Bo3) matches on the way, fans and analysts are looking forward to see which teams will represent the region at MSI 2025.
