Many players have been anticipating news regarding Riot Games' Project L fighting game. After months with no information, we are finally getting confirmation how the game will be titled.

2XKO will be a tag-based fighting game centered around different team compositions to help you with landing combos or helping you in clutch situations. 

We will be taking a look at all that we know so far regarding 2XKO (Formerly Project L). 2XKO is based off of League of Legends characters only this time seen as fighters at Riot Games' attempt at innovating the fighting games scene.

2XKO (Project L) Release Date

As of now, we do not have complete confirmation from the devs at Riot Games as many are speculating a 2025 launch on all major platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S | X, and PC.

However, as per the official site for 2XKO, there will be playable demos of 2XKO around the world during 2024. The first one will be available at Evo Japan from April 27th to April 29th, 2024.

The devs have also stated that players will be able to sign up for at-home playtesting:

We're also hoping to start at-home playtesting before the end of the year," developers added in an official press release. "If you wanna participate, you can sign up right now on the 2XKO website.

Hopefully Riot Games does not disappoint as this long-awaited fighting game has been teased for quite some time now.

2XKO Playable Characters So Far

So far, we have seen 4 iconic League of Legends champions: Darius, Ahri, Ekko, and Yasuo. However, the recent teaser also showed a fifth playable champion- Illaoi

This possibly means that even more champions will be added to the mix as we can expect some unique combos and fighting styles befitting the gameplay the champions have in LoL.
