Fortnite stands out from your usual battle royale games. Although having excellent aim can help you win in many games from this genre, Epic Games constantly introduces new mechanics, items, and abilities with each Season in Fortnite. This keeps the game fresh and challenging. Winning in Zero Build Fortnite often depends on understanding the right strategies and fully utilizing the game's unique features. To help you achieve victory, here are some straightforward tips to guide you to success in your matches in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
5 Tips & Tricks for Easy Wins in Fortnite Zero Build
Find and Use Midas Service Stations
Midas Service Stations are machines that can spawn in almost every Point of Interest (POI). They're not guaranteed to appear in every game but can be incredibly useful. They allow you to upgrade any weapon to the legendary rarity for 500 gold. This means you can turn a common weapon into a legendary one, which is especially helpful at the start of a game. Check out our guide with every Midas Service station location here: Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: All Midas Vending Machine Locations.

Remember, each service station can only upgrade one weapon per game. If your weapon has attachments, they will carry over after the upgrade. You can also use these stations to summon a rift for quick rotations, costing the same amount of gold.
Gather Gold Efficiently
Gathering gold might seem daunting, but it’s easier than ever. Look for golden chickens on the map. These chickens lay eggs that contain 350 gold each. The spawn rate of eggs has recently increased, making it simpler to accumulate gold for upgrades or rifts.
Your other best option is to throw EMP grenades at Vending Machines or Service Stations. Each grenade you throw and hit will spawn 100 Gold Bars on the ground.

Don't Ignore the Shield Bubble Jr.
The Shield Bubble Jr. is the smallest version of the Shield Bubble item that was previously in the game. Don't skimp out on picking it up, as it is an incredibly strong item. Its force shield can protect you from any projectile, and it can even protect you from the pull mechanic of the Chain of Hades. The only thing that can destroy it is an EMP grenade. If you are getting sniped from a distance, using a bubble is a great strategy to safely use your healing items while being protected in the bubble.

Don't Forget to Use the Weapon Bunkers
If you like to buy mods for your weapons, it's never been easier with the new Weapon Bunkers introduced this season. There are 9 bunkers in the game, but not each of them will be open. Five random bunkers open each match once the second circle closes. You can tell if a bunker will open by the chains on the door. If you see chains, this bunker will not open during the match.
Check out our guide with every bunker location here - Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: All Weapon Bunker Locations. Inside every bunker, there are many chests and weapon cases that contain valuable loot, plus the Weapons Bench where you can buy different modifications for your weapons.

Olympian Boss Medallions
If you are one of those players who like to carry boss medallions, do not rush to summon the bosses at the beginning of the game. Multiple times I have cleared the whole area, and as the boss appears, some camper spawns behind me and kills me while I am fighting the boss. We suggest either clearing the whole POI and making sure there is nobody camping, or, the easier way, wait for someone else to spawn the boss and then kill them instead.
And that concludes our guide on five tips & tricks for securing easy wins in Fortnite Zero Build. Don't hesitate to spend your gold early on, as you can easily get tons of it this season without breaking a sweat. For more Fortnite news and guides, be sure to check out the rest of our website.
