Untainted Heart - Lingguang is one of the two new Modifiers coming in Aether Gazer Version 2.0. She is Sub-DPS/Support/Shielder character, and has good teamwork with the other character coming in Version 2.0 - Jinwu. 

Lingguang is a melee character that uses Traces to boost her skills. She is a great addition to any team with her diverse support capabilities and will be a great unit to have for your roster. Below we'll look at all there is to know about her skills, her banner, her signature functor!

Untainted Heart - Lingguang Official Release Date

Untainted Heart - Lingguang will be released after the Version 2.0 Maintenance on January 9th. Her banner will have the following run time:

Players will have a 50% chance to meet Lingguang on her banner if she is not guaranteed, much like the other Limited Character Banners in Aether Gazer.

Once they receive an S-Grade Modifier, players who have already lost their 50/50 on a previous Limited Character Banner will have a 100% chance of winning Lingguang! The following A-Grade Modifiers will have an increased drop rate during the banner:

• Radiant Feather - Hera
• Thundertusk - Kali
• Ailuros - Bastet

Untainted Heart - Lingguang Skills

Lingguang is going to be the newest addition to the support line-up of Aether Gazer. Despite being a support her skills dish out a lot of damage, making her a great Sub-DPS unit to have on any team. Lingguang Skills

skill 1

Undying Flames

• This skill has three modes in battle.
  • Start mode: Dashes at the enemy and attacks them with the folding fans, dealing Fire DMG.
  • Ignite Mode: Makes a sudden dash and attacks enemies along the way, dealing Fire DMG.
  • Aflame mode: Expends Traces, dealing Fire DMG to surrounding enemies. Skill cast grants all team members Shining Armor.
    • Shining Armor: Grants a shield of value equal to a certain percentage of Zhuque - Lingguang's Max HP to all team members.
    • *Traces: Grants Trace when a hit is landed in either Start mode or Ignite mode.

Rising Splendor

• This skill has three modes in battle.
  • Start mode: Attacks the enemy ahead with the folding fans, dealing Fire DMG.
  • Ignite mode: Takes a leap to the back, leaving behind spinning fans that attack the enemy, dealing Fire DMG.
  • Aflame mode: Expends Traces, dealing Fire DMG to surrounding enemies. Skill cast grants all team members Burning Ember. 
    • Burning Ember: When HP is lower than a certain value, the lower the HP, the higher the Non-DoT DMG.
    • *Traces: Grants Trace when a hit is landed in either Start mode or Ignite mode.

Hexagram Auspicious

• This skill has three modes in battle.
  • Start mode: Swings the folding fans while lunging to attacks enemies in a large area ahead, dealing Fire DMG. Skill switches to Ignite mode upon enemy hit.
  • Ignite mode: Cross-swings the folding fans to strike at enemies in a large area ahead, dealing Fire DMG. Skill switches to Start mode upon enemy hit.
  • Aflame mode: Expends Traces, dealing Fire DMG to surrounding enemies. Skill cast grants all team members Fire Brilliant.
    • Fire Brilliant: When HP is higher than a certain value, the higher the HP, the higher the Non-DoT DMG.
    • *Traces: Grants Trace when a hit is landed in either Start mode or Ignite mode.  

ult

Vermilion Starlight

• Grants all team members Burning Sun when any skill is cast in Aflame mode. Also grants all team members Blazing Sun when Mod's Ultimate Skill is cast. Burning Sun bonuses do not apply when the Mod also has Blazing Sun.
  • Blazing Sun: Increases the Independent  Non-DoT DMG based on a certain probability.
  • Blazing Sun: Increases the Independent Non-DoT DMG based on an even higher probability. Grants Ultimate Skill charge when Mod or a teammate crits.

Untainted Heart - Lingguang Signature Functor

Untainted Heart - Lingguang's signature Functor is Otherworlder - Huang and comes with the following effect:

Functor Effect: A skill cast in Aflame mode increases the [Crit Rate] and [Attribute DMG] of all team members. Increases the chance of [Burning Sun]. Extends the duration of [Blazing Sun]. Shortens the duration of [Afire]. Extends the duration of [Alight].

Should you Pull for Untainted Heart - Lingguang

With Lingguang and Jinwu running at the same time, it might be hard to choose which of them to get. If you have enough currency then by all means go for both, as they are both great units to have, however, if you do not the question remains.

Generally, gacha games tend to favor Support characters more, and they are mainly the ones that transcend metas and are viable for a long time, meaning that they are a better investment for your accounts. And Lingguang being the newest support character is sure to remain in the meta for a while, as such pulling and investing for her is not that bad of a deal!
