AFK Journey: Alsa Skills, Introduction, and More

Alsa is the new S-Rank Hero who will be joining the Wilder roster in AFK Journey’s first season [Song of Strife].

Alsa will be the first S-Rank Mage Hero for the Wilders and brings an interesting playstyle of setting up walls to benefit her and block enemies’ attacks.

In this article, we’ll review her currently revealed skills, briefly introduce her, and share our thoughts on her.

Alsa Introduction

From what we have revealed on Alsa we can safely say that she will pair well in any CC (crowd control) focused team. This is because of her second skill which has stones fly down and hit any enemies that suffer CC effects.

This effect is something that is already present in the game and can be found in one of the Artifacts in the Honor Duel. When used right this artifact can deal tons of damage, quickly melting enemy teams, leading us to think that if used properly Alsa might just become a great contender for new PvP meta teams.

Her use in the Dream Realm is still being determined, however, as the bosses there cannot suffer heavy CC effects, it is unsure how her boulders will work on the bosses in the Dream Realm and if she will be of any use against them.

However, setting aside the Dream Realm we can definitely see Alsa being a good teammate for some CC-oriented PvP teams, which is the current meta, as well as some Tower of Trials or simple AFK Stages, as having a good CC team for those is a great way to push harder stages beyond your power.
