First off the AFK rewards. As with any idle game, the AFK rewards are what push your progression the most and are the bread and butter of AFK Journey.
Knowing how to best optimize these AFK rewards will make a world of a difference in your progression.

Always Max AFK Stage
As written above you always want to try and reach the max AFK stage you can to get the most rewards.
This means that before going out somewhere, or if you know you won’t be able to play for a while it is always best to get to the highest AFK stage you can to get the most rewards possible when you come back.

Don't go over MAX AFK Duration
AFK rewards in AFK Journey have a set time before they cap out. There are various ways to increase this duration cap.
The basic duration for this cap is 16 hours, meaning that you won’t get any AFK rewards beyond the 16-hour mark, so make sure you regularly collect your AFK rewards.

Don't Waste Instant AFK Attempts
The most important thing when it comes to AFK rewards and good progression is how you utilize your instant attempts at AFK rewards.
You get one of these attempts for free each day and you can also buy one, or 2 if you’ve reached VIP 1, for gems.
These might be tempting to get when you’re stuck on a stage during the day, however, do not fall into this trap. The best time to use your Instant AFK Attempts is just before the daily reset.
During the day you may find yourself stuck at a stage, however, after waiting for an hour or two you might be able to clear it easily and continue clearing further. If you’d used your Instant AFK Attempt then you would’ve wasted it.
However, if you use them right before the daily reset you will be getting the most amount of resources because you won’t have the time to push anyway.
Another thing we recommend doing is spending your gems on the additional Instant AFK Attempts. This way you will be getting a slight, but good boost in resource income, pushing you just a bit further for the next day.
