AFK Journey: Primal Lord Lone Gaze Best Teams for Max Damage

The Primal Lord: Lone Gaze is one of the server-wide bosses that you will encounter in AFK Journey. This boss gives you a ton of resources such as Gold, XP, and most importantly Hero Essence that you can use to level your heroes.

The more damage you do to the boss the more rewards you obtain so it is crucial that you use the best team to get the most rewards possible.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the best teams for Primal Lord: Lone Gaze and show you just how to do the most damage.

How to Get Rewards in Primal Lord Lone Gaze

When fighting against the Primal Lord you will deal damage to its enormous health pool and by doing damage you will fill up a bar above its head that shows just how much chests you have earned in this encounter.

The more chests you manage to get, the more rewards. Simple as that.

This is why it is important that you have the best team setup when you’re using up your 3 daily attempts so that you can get the most chests possible.

Another tip that you might have already caught onto is to always use your 3 daily attempts even if you do not get a higher placement. Each attempt gives rewards so it is important to use all 3 daily to get the most rewards out of the boss as possible.

Primal Lord Lone Gaze Best Team

Primal Lord Lone Gaze is a bit different than the bosses that you will encounter in the Dream Realm and for global its damage has even been nerfed a bit. Given that Lone Gaze now doesn’t hit as hard means that you can go ahead and use more DPS heroes to do even more damage.

The current recommended composition for normal players is:

• 1 Debuffer / Tank
• 2 Healer
• 2 DPS

NOTE: It is always better to use your most Ascended Characters when fighting bosses because they will likely have the most damage and survivability.

With this layout in mind, it's time to look at some sample teams you can use.

Best Team
Thoran	Cecia	Smokey&Meerky	Koko	Odie

Here you can swap Cecia for other high DPS units such as Vala / Marilee / Shakir. If you have these at a higher Ascension than Cecia they might be better for your team.

Additionally, you can swat Thoran for Kruger to get a good Debuff, however, you will suffer in the survivability aspect so you might want to test it out first.

Nonetheless, the core of Smokey, Koko, and Odie is certainly a must-have for this fight.

As for the best Artifact for the Primal Lord, it is hands down the Starshard Spell.

This artifact will give you the most damage and is overall a great boost to your team. 

If you do not have it or find yourself dying too fast you can always swap it for the Awakening Spell and try that. You will lose some damage, but in turn you will get a ton of survivability.
