AFK Journey is similar to its predecessor AFK Arena where you gather various heroes to fight for you. These Heroes can be obtained from the game’s gacha system, which means that you will not always get what you need.
So to increase your chances of getting the best starter Heroes you might be tempted to reroll. In this guide, we’ll go over just how you can reroll in AFK Journey and if you should do it.

How to Reroll in AFK Journey
Rerolling in AFK Journey can help you get the best Heroes to boost your progression early which is why it's so tempting to do. Thankfully, rerolling in AFK Journey doesn’t take a lot of time, and can be done in close to 10 minutes.
However, before you start rerolling note that in AFK Journey you might get in trouble for making a lot of accounts, so the best strategy when rerolling is to start on a new server rather than make a new account.
With the important note out of the way let’s get started.
Reroll Steps
- Start the Game
- Login with your Account
- Create your character and follow the tutorial. (When you get the chance open the settings by clicking on the cog icon, go to Battle, and scroll down to Play Ultimate Animation. By picking NEVER here you’ll save yourself some time rerolling.)
- Play the tutorial until you unlock the Noble Tavern
- Do the first 2 pulls
- Continue with the Main Story until you complete the New Journey mission.
- Go to the Main Screen, open the three lines icon, and open Events
- Get 10 Invite Letters from Journey gift
- Pull on the All-Heroes Banner (Note here you will always get Cecia on your first 10 pull)
- After spending all of your pulls on the All-Heroes Banner either start on a new server or use a new email.

Who to Reroll For?
Now that you’ve gotten your wishes and know how the reroll process works it’s time to look at which characters to aim for.
Given that you get Cecia on your first 10 pull and that you’ll be getting an amazing support in your second 10 pull, there’s only one role that you have to worry about getting to get a full team, and that is a Tank.
TANK
Thoran
- The best Tank right now is Thoran, who is a great pick and pairs well with Cecia.
Thoran is the best Hero you should look for when rerolling.
But if you do not get Thoran any other S-Rank Tank Hero can also work, though we strongly recommend Thoran.

Closing Remarks
Generally rerolling in AFK Journey is not that recommended as you get a ton of free pulls by starting out and you will still need a ton of copies to ascend your Heroes anyway.
