Supreme Arena is one of the new modes in AFK Journey that was added with the Song of Strife Season. During its first run, it was a nightmare to climb the rankings in this mode due to the game’s AI being ridiculously overpowered, but today the mode got some needed nerfs, and now it’s easier than ever to climb the ranks and get free gems.

What is the Supreme Arena?
Supreme Arena is a mode where you set up 3 teams of 5 Heroes to battle against other players or AFK Journey’s AI. By winning matches, you can increase your overall rank and get a ton of rewards, with the most important being gems.
It works similarly to the Arena, with the exception being that you’re using 3 teams instead of one. Just like in the Arena, you can pick from 3 opponents, whose ranks and power are shown right below their character icon. If you win, you get that opponent’s rank and a ton of gems.

Supreme Arena Nerfs
When the Supreme Arena was first released, players were eager to try out the new mode and get some free rewards, but soon found out that it was rather hard.
The Supreme Arena uses a ton of AI opponents with preset teams that are there to help you climb the ranks.
The downside of this was that the AI opponents were simply too damn strong. Even spenders found it hard to climb the rankings of the Supreme Arena, let alone free-to-play players.
With the new week, the Supreme Arena got a needed nerf to the AI teams, and now it’s easier than ever to defeat them.
The AI levels have been significantly lowered, and their power is nothing like last week, making it a great time to farm some gems.

How to Get Gems
In the Supreme Arena, you get Gems by increasing your ranking. Each time you win a fight, you can get thousands of Gems, making this the best way to farm Gems right now.
NOTE: You only get Gems for reaching a new Best Rank. You will not get Gems for reaching a rank you have already achieved.
Given that the AI opponents have been nerfed for most players, now is the best time to go into the Supreme Arena and get the highest rank possible before the spenders and whales dominate the upper ranks.
Remember, you only need to reach a rank once to get the Gems from it, so go and use those tickets before it’s too late!
