With the upcoming release of AFK Journey’s first season - Song of Strife, the developers behind the game have been giving us sneak peeks of what’s to come.
One of those is the reveal of the new heroes from the Mauler faction - Alsa and Soren.
In this article, we’ll go over everything there is to know about these two new characters, and when we can expect their appearance in the game.
New Heroes
As already mentioned AFK Journey revealed two new heroes that will be coming to AFK Journey, those being - Alsa and Sore.
However, despite both of them being revealed it is still uncertain whether both of these heroes will be playable.
Given that AFK Journey has been quite secretive with revealing new heroes to the game, and Florabelle being revealed only 2 days before her official release, it is interesting that AFK Journey is opting to present these two heroes this early.
The reveal of these two heroes is likely tied to the upcoming Song of Strife season that will first make its appearance in the game on May 10, and will further expand on the main story of AFK Journey, likely going into Mauler territory, as hinted by the various images that have been revealed.
Given that players will venture into Mauler territory the reveal of these two new heroes is expected, however, it does not confirm if they will be playable or not.
As what happened with Lorsan, who was a major part of the AFK Journey’s story up until the Vaduso Mountains area, and we still didn’t receive him as a playable hero, both Alsa and Soren might just be heroes that will have a major impact in the game’s story, rather than being playable.
Nonetheless, this is still in the air, and we are waiting for more official information from AFK Journey. When we receive news on whether these two new heroes will be playable or not, we will update you.
