Story:
- Combat is easy.
- More about solving mysteries and looking around.
Normal (Default):
- Combat is tougher.
- You have to be smart with your items and resources to stay alive.
Hard:
- Combat is very hard.
- You really need to know how the game works and use items wisely.
Nightmare:
- The hardest level.
- For players who want a big challenge.
- You can only play this after finishing the game once (New Game Plus).

Most people will be okay with "Normal". No matter what you pick, the game doesn't give or take away any rewards. So, pick what feels right for you at the start.
Remember, the "Nightmare" level will be added after the game is first released.
