There are currently 12 NPCs split into three categories in Chapter 6 Season 1: Wrecked - Hostile, Vendor, and the ones who are available for hire. Some of these NPCs fall into multiple categories, which we will cover below.

Hostile NPCs in Fortnite

The Hostile NPC type was introduced a few seasons ago, allowing you to challenge them to a duel for a chance to win their weapon if you defeat them. However, if you eliminate them without starting the duel, you won’t get the Mythic variant of their weapon.

Currently, there is only one Hostile NPC in the game. Below, you’ll find their location and the rewards you can earn in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

Vendor and Service NPCs in Fortnite

The Vendor and Service NPCs are the ones that offer you different items and services in exchange for Gold Bars. These are the ones you should look for if you are in need of certain weapons or consumables. Here is a list of all of them and what they offer:

Where to Find the Specialist NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

In the recent weekly quests, one task requires you to "Collect ammo while you have a specialist hired." To complete this quest, you’ll need to hire one of the four specialists currently available in the game:

Cinder
Helsie
Mizuki
Vi

Simply use the Recruit option for 250 Gold Bars to hire any of them, then start collecting ammo to finish the quest. Check the image below for their exact locations on the map.
