Apex Legends Breakout Shadow Society Event: Rewards, 36 Skins and a New Apex Artifact

Apex Legends is introducing a very cool Shadow Society-themed event which will take place from March 26 to April 16. As usual, the new event from Apex Season 20 will feature numerous limited cosmetics, rewards that you can win, and a game mode that everyone can enjoy, all in the spirit of the Shadow Society. What is more, a new Apex Artifact will be included in the event gifts, so check out all you need to know below.

Apex Shadow Society Event: New Apex Artifact 

Probably the best reward you can get during the Shadow Society event is the new Apex Artifact - the "Cobalt Katar". This universal Mythic Melee blade serves as a universal Heirloom that any Legend can wield in place of their standard melee weapon. The Cobalt Katar can be obtained exclusively during the event period through Shadow Society Event Packs.

To equip your Apex Artifact, simply access the Melee tab, which appears after selecting a Legend before entering a game.

Apex Shadow Society Event: New Rewards and Items

The Shadow Society Event will enable Apex players to acquire 36 Limited-Time cosmetics inspired by the old-school mafia aesthetic. The standout features of the event are undoubtedly the new Legendary Skins. Legends such as Bloodhound, Ballistic, Lifeline, Mad Maggie, and Horizon will receive new limited-time cosmetics.

The best part of the event is that while collecting new cosmetics, you'll also reach various milestones, unlocking additional rewards. Milestone Rewards become available after collecting 5, 10, 20, and all 36 Shadow Society items. These rewards include a weapon charm, a holospray, a Fuse emote, and a Cobalt Death Box. As you might have guessed, the Cobalt Death Box complements the Cobalt Katar blade.

Apex Shadow Society Event: Reward Shop and Challenges 

During the Shadow Society event, you can complete daily challenges to earn Reputation. Accumulating Reputation will enable you to purchase any Shadow Society cosmetic of your choice from the Reward Shop. Please note that there is a daily limit to the amount of Reputation you can earn. Additionally, remember to check the weekly Apex Packs offerings regularly to see if there are any interesting items available for purchase.

Apex Legends Shadow Society Event: Limited-Time Mode: Lockdown

The new Apex game mode, Lockdown, will pit four squads in a free-for-all war where each team must protect their domain. In Lockdown, everyone will spawn with TDM loadouts, and your objective is to secure Capture Zones. These zones will spawn in various locations across four levels: Thunderdome, Skulltown, Zeus Station, and Monument.

Points are awarded for capturing zones, maintaining control over them, and eliminating other players. To emerge victorious, your squad must be the first to accumulate 500 points.
