In Battle Royale games like Apex Legends, the Ring (also known as the gas or zone) plays a crucial role. As the match progresses and player numbers dwindle, the map needs to shrink to keep players engaged and ensure they can find each other within the playable area.
Recognizing the importance of the Ring and its impact on gameplay, Respawn Entertainment occasionally adjusts its values based on the ongoing meta, maps, and other variables. With the current ranked system in mind, Respawn has decided to make significant changes to the Ring in the upcoming season.
