Ash Echoes Version 1.0 is about to be released to its global audience later today, on November 13, 2024. And although the game is not out yet, the developers have begun sharing information about what we can expect when the game launches. One of the things they’ve shared is information about the banners and the rate-up characters that we’ll be getting following the game’s launch. Version 1.0 will offer players an increased chance to get the 6-star character Cen Ying, while also featuring a rate-up trace banner. Discover more about both of these banners below.

Standard Banner
The Standard Banner in Ash Echoes works in a similar way to the standard banners in Reverse: 1999, where you receive a rate-up for a standard 6-star character each rotation. For the global release of the game, the Standard Banner will feature an increase in drop rate for the 6-star Echomance, Lorelle. This rate-up will be active starting the global release on November 13, 2024, at 16:00 (UTC-5) and will continue until the end of Version 1.0 on December 5, 2024, at 03:59 (UTC-5).

Limited Character Banner
The limited-time character banners in Ash Echoes are known as Limited-Time Targeted Resonance, and they offer players a higher chance of obtaining specific characters. The first such Targeted Resonance to be added in Version 1.0 of Ash Echoes will be known as [Gleaming Light], and it will feature a boosted drop rate for the 6-star character, Cen Ying. In addition, this banner will also provide increased drop rates for the 3 5-star, or SR characters, those being:
- Sephonis
- Sambheka
- Caroline
This banner will run starting from the release of the global version on November 13, 2024, at 16:00 (UTC-5) until November 28, 2024, at 03:59 (UTC-5). This gives players just a bit more than two weeks to try and get a copy of Cen Ying. It is worth noting that Cen Ying is a non-limited 6-star character. She will be added to the permanent character pool after 2 versions!

Limited Trace Banner
Memory Traces can be thought of as your weapons in Ash Echoes, and they are an integral part of the game. Traces not only help your characters do more damage, but they are also the building blocks of your builds, so having the best Traces can make or break your account. Similar to characters, Traces also come in different rarities and have their own unique banners. The first limited-trace banner that will be available at launch will feature boosted drop rates for 1 SSR Trace and 2 SR Traces. The SSR Trace is known as Born From Ashes (Mastery), while the SR Traces are as follows:
- Wish In The Rain (Terminal)
- Where The Star Fell (Defense)
Similar to the Limited Character Banner, the Limited Trace Banner will also begin on November 13, 2024, at 16:00 (UTC-5) and will last until November 28, 2024, at 03:59 (UTC-5). It is worth noting that the SSR Memory, Born From Ashes (Mastery), will enter the [Memory Tracing: Memory Echo] after the end of the Limited Trace Banner.
