Solo Run / The Lone Wolf
Divinity Original Sin 2 encouraged players to take up the adventure on their own as a 'Lone Wolf.' Nothing is stopping you from trying to finish Baldur's Gate 3 completely on your own, with no companions to back you up. This surely offers more of a challenge and a need to think about each and every action you take, especially while facing off against bosses.

Beat the Game without Killing Anyone
For the pacifists in Baldur's Gate 3, you can try to beat the game without killing anyone. This seems to be a tough job in a game centered around turn-based battles. Try your best to bypass all killing in the game and see how long you will last.
Potato Only
YouTuber Spud The King introduced the Potato Challenge in which you're supposed to go through BG3 in its entirety only by relying on a... well, potato. This challenge can be quite tough until you find a potato, which will be your main weapon, but that's the fun of it.
Bonnie and Clyde
Take Astarion (or Shadowheart) and go on a mischievous adventure. Just Tav and a companion, doing their best to scheme and steal their way to the top. Pickpocket, kill sneakily, lie, deceive, and never face off against your enemies straight ahead.

Improvised Weapons Only or ('Insert Element' Only)
Many content creators offer '--- Only' challenges in BG3. Finish the game only by using improvised weapons, spells, no spells, etc. This challenge is completely customizable, according to your preference.
Elementalist Challenge
Get a wizard, druid or a sorcerer and pick one element - fire, water, earth, air, or electricity. Once you do, you're supposed to stick only to BG3 spells related to your element and nothing else.
Kill 'Em All
This challenge will make you kill everyone you ever encounter in Baldur's Gate 3, basically forcing you into a constant battle if you're into that. There's only one rule: no one is left alive!
Reality Check
No rerolling, no reloading old files - The 'No Cheating' BG3 challenge makes you go through the game fairly, without choosing the right option whenever you feel like it. You're also not allowed to revive your companions with scrolls - if they die, they die, and you can't do anything about it.
