Patch 3 brings a highly requested feature to Baldur's Gate 3 – the ability to change your character's appearance. In this guide, we'll cover everything you need to know about how and where to alter your look, as well as which aspects of your appearance you can customize and those that remain unchangeable.
The Magic Mirror
Located within your camp, the Magic Mirror is a newly added interactive object. It might be tucked away in a corner of your camp, so be sure to thoroughly explore every nook and cranny if you can't find it initially.
When you interact with the Magic Mirror, it transports you to a screen resembling the character creation screen from the game's beginning, with a few differences.
How to Alter Your Appearance
While the Magic Mirror isn't an all-powerful tool, it does offer the capability to modify the following features:
- Identity
- Body Art
- Eyes
- Makeup
- Hair
- Facial Hair
However, there are limitations. You cannot change your character's body type, race, or subrace. Additionally, if you're playing as an Origin Character, you won't have the option to alter their appearance either.
