My Hero Academia

For action we chose My Hero Academia as a starting anime. We decided on My Hero Academia as we believe that it incorporates everything that a great Action anime has to offer, meaning, great fighting scenes, amazing art, stunning fight choreography and a diverse cast of characters with different abilities.

My Hero Academia is brighter than some of the other popular action anime that are currently on the market, and it is also quite mixed with a lot of Western themes about superheroes and villains, making it feel like it is way closer to home, rather than something purely Japanese that will throw you into an unfamiliar world.

We believe that My Hero Academia is a great choice for any beginner and with its numerous seasons and expansive cast it is sure to have you watching for a long time.

Here are some other great Action Anime suggestions should My Hero Academia not be up to your taste:

  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Attack on Titan
  • One Punch Man
  • Demon Slayer
