Best Anime to Watch in January 2024

As the Fall 2023 anime season comes to an end in just about two weeks, now is the time to look at the Anime series coming out next season, Winter 2024, and pick what to watch. Join us as we look at some of the most notable names for Winter 2024 and some that you may not have heard of.

Best Anime of Winter 2024

The Winter 2024 season will begin at the start of next year, and will bring a ton of good anime to watch. Although the anime industry had slowed down for a bit, it started to pick up quite a lot with Fall 2023 and now will continue that trend with Winter 2024. Some of the most notable titles coming out in January of 2024 are as follows:

Solo Leveling (Ore dake ga Level up na Ken)

Ten years ago, "the Gate" appeared and connected the real world with the realm of magic and monsters. To combat these vile beasts, ordinary people received superhuman powers and became known as "Hunters." Twenty-year-old Sung Jin-Woo is one such Hunter, but he is known as the "World's Weakest," owing to his pathetic power compared to even a measly E-Rank. Still, he hunts monsters tirelessly in low-rank Gates to pay for his mother's medical bills.

Probably the most anticipated title of this season. The Solo Leveling anime will adapt the world-famous manhwa, Solo Leveling, finally bringing it to the big screen. The anime has a lot of hype around it, and rightfully so. The fans have been eagerly awaiting to see all of their characters come to life, and will at last get the chance to do so.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 3rd Season)

Another highly anticipated series. The third season of the highly popular Classroom of the Elite adaptation of the Light Novel with the same name, will pick up from the end of last season, which aired from July to September last year (2022)!

Mashle Season 2 (Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2)

Mashle, an anime that came out of nowhere and took the world by storm. If you like Harry Potter and training then it is definitely a must watch. Mashle Season 2 will pick up from where the first season left off, with Mash’s win against Abel and the hint at the leader of the criminal organization, Innocent Zero.

Kingdom Season 5

Yet another Season of Kingdom. Ever since Kingdom Season 3 picked up the anime, after a 6 year hiatus the series has only been getting better and better. The high rating on MAL (MyAnimeList) alongside the countless great reviews by anime watches certainly make the anime a must watch. If you are able to sit through the first season’s terrible CGI that is.
