Adding Soaks to your Drinks in Black Myth Wukong allows you to adjust your armor and gear to fit your playstyle better by applying extra effects.

Black Myth Wukong How To Unlock Soaks

You'll unlock Soaks in Black Myth Wukong after meeting Shen Monkey for the first time in the Bamboo Grove area. Defeat the Snake Guai and watch the cutscene.

Shen Monkey will offer to upgrade your Gourd, and you'll be able to apply some Soaks to your Drinks. Keep in mind that meeting the Shen Monkey will also allow you to use and purchase Soaks at all Keeper's Shrines in Black Myth Wukong.

Gall Gem

The Gall Gem is automatically obtained after you meet the Shen Monkey at Bamboo Grove. It will increase your Poison Resistance for a limited time after you sip your healing Drink.

Celestial Lotus Seeds

The Celestial Lotus Seeds will cost you 2,400 Will, but they can recover a good amount of your Health. The good news is that by the time you gain access to this Soak, you'll have gathered plenty of gold to sell in exchange for Will.

Tender Jade Lotus

The Tender Jade Lotus can only be acquired randomly by harvesting Jade Lotus. You can find these plants before the Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior Keeper's Shrine. This Soak will provide you with a Defense boost that will make you more durable while fighting tough bosses.
