There are many Yaoguai Kings in Black Myth Wukong, and they're more important than all the other enemies since they're part of the main story. However, they are also the most powerful ones.
Although some main bosses are very well-hidden, Captain Wise-Voice is very difficult to miss; you will encounter him at the beginning of Chapter 3, and this article will guide you through the process of defeating him.

Black Myth Wukong Captain Wise-Voice Location & Preparation
Start from the Pagoda Realm and keep going forward until you reach the summit where the Mani Wheel Keeper’s Shrine is located. Cross the rocks and enter the cave where Captain Wise-Voice will be waiting for you.
However, before you go inside, make sure that you have upgraded your weapon as much as possible and that you’re wearing a top-tier armor set. If you have any leftover Skill Points, Sparks, or Mind Cores, don’t hesitate to use them to boost your Health, Stamina, and Mana.

Black Myth Wukong How To Defeat Captain Wise-Voice
The best strategy for defeating Captain Wise-Voice is to deal damage to his head. When you perform a few high-damage attacks on the front-right leg of the monster, it will stumble forward and lower its head, giving you just enough time to shoot. Keep in mind that Captain Wise-Voice will kick around a lot and shoot beams on the ground.
Try to stay as far as possible to avoid the blasts, and be aware that each time you deal damage to the orb, the boss will get back up and jump across the arena. Use your Cloud Step to get away from the beams that are tracking you as well. When Captain Wise-Voice has taken enough damage, there will be a wave of smaller blasts on the ground. Use the Rock Solid spell to avoid the damage.

Black Myth Wukong Captain Wise-Voice Summary
It’s important to note that the more you progress through this fight, the more aggressive Captain Wise-Voice will become. This boss builds up Shock, and when the bar is full, you will take more damage but don’t worry; simply try to stay out of range and let the Shock go away on its own before attacking again.
Additionally, you can use the Shock-Quelling Powder to get rid of the Shock, but you can craft medicine only after you have completed Zu Dog’s questline. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about Black Myth Wukong, you can check out this article.
