Black Myth Wukong - How To Defeat Yellow Loong

A large portion of the soulslike community argues that the most difficult boss to defeat in Black Myth Wukong is the Yellow Loong, and they definitely have some good reasons.

He is an optional Yaoguai King boss enemy who has powerful six-hit combos and strong AoE attacks. However, there's nothing to worry about because this guide will tell you exactly how to defeat him.

Black Myth Wukong Yellow Loong Location

You will not be able to meet the Yellow Loong boss before you manage to defeat the previous Loong brothers first. To begin hunting and killing them, you will need to obtain the Loong Scales Item by defeating the First Rat Prince boss in the Yellow Sand Ridge, Chapter 2. The Lightning Lunge is the most common attack of the Yellow Loong, and he often includes a two-hit attack or a three-hit combo with a finisher after he performs it. Don't spam the dodge button, and use the Cloud Step to avoid it instead. The second attack is the Six-Hit Lightning Combo, which is exactly what it says on the tin, and it deals a lot of damage.

You can use a charged heavy attack to interrupt the combo. It's important to note that the Yellow Loong will use AoE blasts immediately after a Six-Hit Combo, and the best strategy to avoid it is to get as far away from him as possible by running close to the arena's perimeter.
