Silk cannot be found randomly, and it's either dropped by enemies, purchased in the store, or obtained by looting chests. The first option would be your best bet, especially if you're just starting your journey through Black Myth Wukong.

There are plenty of enemies in Chapter 2, such as the basic rats, which drop silk almost all the time. The good news is that they respawn every time you rest or die, so you can always come back for more of this resource whenever you need it. If you still want to buy silk at the in-game store, it will cost you 600 Will for each piece.

Silk has two functions in the game; you can either sell it or use it to craft new armor at a Shrine. Trading with silk isn't recommended because the in-game currency called Will is very easy to come by and you will be wasting your materials.
