When you first start your journey in Black Myth Wukong, you won't have a lot of skills and Staff Stances to choose from. However, when you progress enough through the main story, you'll gain access to the Foundation skill tree.

Black Myth Wukong Punishing Downpour Explained

Punishing Downpour will allow you to unleash a high-damage Light Attack Finisher every time you land six consecutive light attacks on any opponent. It acts as a combo finisher that can deal extra AoE DMG, and it works like a charged Heavy Attack.

However, you don't need any Focus Points to perform the Punishing Downpour, and if you don't have enough Sparks to unlock it in the first place, you can grind for XP to level up and get more of that resource.

Black Myth Wukong Punishing Downpour Best Build

You can combine the Punishing Downpour with skills like Composure. This is a Stamina-based ability, and it helps you avoid enemy attacks during light combos without breaking your streak. Moreover, you can add the Kang-Jin Staff to the build, as it has a unique effect that can convert the damage of Punishing Downpour into Thunder damage.
