Black Myth Wukong - Treasure Hunter Quest Walkthrough

Black Myth Wukong has so many regions to explore, and they're filled with various items, chests, bosses, and quests. Not every mission in the game is mandatory, but they all bring some valuable rewards upon completion.

The Treasure Hunter Quest is very easy to miss; that's why we made a full guide that will help you through the process of starting and completing the challenge.

Black Myth Wukong How To Start The Treasure Hunter Quest

Once you reach Chapter 3 and finish the Turtle event, you'll be able to begin the Treasure Hunter questline. Get to the North Shore of the Bitter Lake Keeper's Shrine and head west, following the coast.

You'll soon find yourself in the area where you found Chen Loong. There, you'll notice the Tori gates leading to a temple. Go inside and defeat the enemies that are attacking the NPC. Interact with the character, and you'll start the Treasure Hunter quest.

After speaking to the Treasure Hunter, reach the Valley of Ecstasy, Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine. Follow the path, and you'll spot another gate. However, don't go through it and take the path down the left side instead. Keep going until you see the Towers of Karma. Cast the Ring of Fire to warm up the Treasure Hunter, who'll be calling for help.

Interact with him again inside the ring and exhaust the dialogue. Return to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine and follow the path on the right side of the gate. You'll stumble upon a river. At the end of it, there's a secret road leading down; follow it and you'll find the Green-Capped Martialist.

Black Myth Wukong How To Defeat The Green-Capped Martialist

The Green-Capped Martialist uses a lot of strategies to surprise the enemy, so we recommend preparing for this battle with some medicine that cures burns and boosts your damage and defenses. This boss spins his flaming chakram and uses a portal to shoot fiery beams in your direction, so make sure you're always ready to dodge.

When you get close to the Green-Capped Martialist, he'll toss his weapon to the side, making you think that his aim isn't that great. However, he'll quickly run to it and pick it up again, only to swing it in a large arch towards you. Don't let him deceive you, and you'll have no trouble winning.

Black Myth Wukong Treasure Hunter Quest Rewards

After you defeat the Green-Capped Martialist, you'll officially complete the Treasure Hunter quest. As a reward for your effort, you will receive the Spell Binder offensive ability.
