Finding a Dog House

Activision

To begin, locate the burning dog houses on the map. Keep in mind that their locations are random and may change, so keep an eye out for the icon on the map. These dog houses are typically situated in the outskirts. Once found, a dog house remains in the same area, and this step is crucial for what follows.

Zombie Treats

To enlist the pet on your side, you must offer it a treat - Chunks of Flesh. These won't appear until you encounter a dog house. Obtain these chunks by blowing up zombies; grenades are the most effective method.

Giving the Treats

Interact with the dog house and deposit Chunks of Flesh inside. This action triggers an explosion, sawning your new pet. If nothing happens, try again.

About the Pets & Leveling Up

Activision

These hellish dogs are valuable assets, excelling as killing machines. Each time your pet eliminates an enemy, you earn 10 XP. You can have multiple hellhounds simultaneously. Each additional hound requires more Chunks of Flesh and spawns at a higher level, with up to four slots available, reaching a Level 4 Hound.

You Can Pet The Dog

This achievement may be a nod to the famous "Can I pet that dog?" meme. Unlock it by interacting with the dog. Note that not all dogs may be interested in being petted, so give it a try and see for yourself.
