As many players are excited about the upcoming release of No Rest for the Wicked, some may be wondering whether the game will have an 'Always Online' feature that will prompt you to have a constant internet connection as many modern games do nowadays.
We will try to find out if Moon Studios will follow the same example that has been met with vehement criticism by gamers or will the developers approach the game with passion and love as they have their other titles.

Will No Rest for the Wicked be Online-Only?
To the pleasant surprise of many players, the developers of the game confirmed on their official Discord server for No Rest for the Wicked that the game will not require an online connection to play.
To all who've asked (and those that didn't), we can confirm No Rest for the Wicked will NOT require an online connection to play.
It seems the studio is not only set on revolutionizing the Action-RPG genre but it is also aiming to fight or at least not succumb to the malicious practices major studios have been trying to set as the standard.
Players not having to rely on their internet connection is a good sign of the game's integrity as it does not make sense if you are looking to have a single-player adventure.

No Rest for the Wicked: Offline Mode and Multiplayer
Despite players being able to play No Rest for the Wicked offline, you will also be able to pair up with up to three more friends to play co-op online. This flexibility will ensure the sustained lifespan of the game as having the option to entirely play solo or with friends will only bring about positive feedback from the community.
All in all, we are looking forward to the upcoming release of the game as No Rest for the Wicked will enter Early Access on April 18, 2024. We will make sure to cover even more information about the game as well as provide guides in the future.
