Every new season in Fortnite introduces a new set of storyline quests. In Chapter 5, Season 2, the season started with the Oracle's Snapshot challenges and Aphrodite's Snapshot quests. Players had to complete various tasks to win the favor of the gods who now control the Fortnite map. Today, Epic Games released the third set of quests, called 'Cerberus Snapshot.' In this questline, we need to find Cerberus' lost Artifact, but he's not sure where it is. Since three of the quest instructions are unclear, this guide will show you the exact locations for those quests, saving you the trouble of searching the entire map.

After completing the first two challenges in his questline, Cerberus will give you the task 'Did I leave it at the Windmill with the view of the Styx?' Initially, this didn’t provide any clear directions. When you look at the Fortnite map, you’ll notice three windmills. The clue 'view of the Styx?' points you to the correct one. The Other Windmill is located on a hill just northeast of the Grim Gate POI, and below it, you can see the river Styx.

Once you arrive at this landmark, the task 'Did I leave it at the Windmill with the view of the Styx?' will be marked as complete, and a new prompt will appear: 'Dig up the Artifact by The Other Windmill.' Right outside the Windmill, next to a large rock, you’ll find a blue Exclamation Mark. Dig here with your Pickaxe. Surprisingly, you’ll find not an Artifact, but a dog toy. However, picking it up completes the challenge and leads you to the next one.

After you uncover his first dog toy, Cerberus' next task for you is 'Maybe on a grassy island in the center of everything.' The first place I thought of was the middle island, located between Fencing Fields and Reckless Railways, where you find the campfire and the Earth Shrine. However, after circling the island a few times without any new prompts appearing, I noticed a smaller island right next to it. Check the image below for the exact location.

Once you swim to the smaller island, the task 'Maybe on a grassy island in the center of everything' will be completed, and a new one will appear: 'Dig up the Artifact on the island.' You’ll see a blue exclamation mark near the shore as soon as you land on the island. Dig there to move on to the third and final location.

After you collect the two dog toys, Cerberus gives you the next task: 'I left it near the snow, where people bury yummy bones too.' This is probably the easiest one to find on your own. 'Where people bury yummy bones' points to a Cemetery, and 'I left it near the snow' suggests it's near the snowy mountain. The Cemetery Landmark is located north of the Reckless Railways POI. Check the image below for the exact location on the map.

Once you reach this landmark, the task 'I left it near the snow, where people bury yummy bones too' will be marked as complete, just like the previous ones. A new task will appear: 'Dig up the Artifact by the Cemetery.' You will now see an Exclamation Mark on your minimap, located just outside the cemetery fence. Dig there to find the final third dog toy.
