CookieRun: Kingdom is getting a brand new update today, bringing in a new season to the Arcade Arena, a new Epic Cookie, and three new costumes for beloved cookies. The update is scheduled to go live today, so without wasting any more time, let’s dive in and see what it has to offer.

Arcade Arena Season 3
The Arcade Arena has the main appeal of the newest version update, and it has already been through two seasons of various rules and challenges that players had to abide by in order to compete. Well, the Arcade Arena is not over yet, and starting today it is entering its third and final season, namely Season 3.
The third season of Arcade Arena begins on December 31, 2024, right after the maintenance, and will continue until January 15, 2025, at 05:59 (GMT+9). During this time, players will battle it out with challengers in a 7v7 mode in which you will only be able to use Epic Cookies. The Epic Cookies that you can use will be shown in a unique pool in-game, so make sure to check that out before setting up your teams and planning your strategy. The season will also undergo a tallying period shortly before the season comes to an end during which period you will not be able to participate in matches. Luckily, you’ll still have access to the shop, but it should still be noted as something to watch out for so that you don’t end up missing getting a higher rank because you forgot to participate.
Lastly, the developers have also stated that the Arcade Arena Shop will undergo slight changes, and starting Season 3 will feature Soulstones of Green Tea Mousse Cookie and Prune Juice Cookie, rather than the previous Soulstones of Pudding à la Mode Cookie and Capsaicin Cookie.

New Epic Cookie

New Costumes
Lastly, the December 31 update will feature an update to the Royal Hanbok costume line by introducing three new costumes designed by artist Woohnayoung. The three new costumes are as follows:
- GingerBrave’s Celestial Emperor
- Sea Fairy Cookie’s Ethereal Satin
- Wind Archer Cookie’s Windward Marksman
