Scrolls of Potential are a type of consumable item that players will not encounter immediately after they start playing CookieRun: Tower of Adventures, but they are without a doubt one of the most important items when it comes to the endgame of ToA.

What are Scrolls of Potential?
Simply put, Scrolls of Potential are consumable items that come in various types and are used to unlock an equipment’s Hidden Power.
What is Hidden Power, you might ask? Well, Hidden Power is just a hard way of saying sub-stat.
Starting from Epic Rarity, each piece of equipment will have a Hidden Power tab, which you can go to to give those equipment sub-stats. These sub-stats range from a simple ATK% increase to C. Rate% or C. DMG% buffs.
All in all, this is a quick way to drastically boost your cookies’ power and allow you to challenge harder content.
However, to unlock this Hidden Power you need Scrolls of Potential. Each time you try to unlock a Hidden Power, you will consume a set amount of Scrolls of Potential and some Gold. After this, you will receive a random sub-stat for your equipment. Epic equipment only has one sub-stat, but the higher rarity equipment has more.
In the endgame, one can quickly see how rerolling for the most optimal sub-stats can become quite a tedious task, and this means that you will also need a ton of Scrolls of Potential. So why not start farming them sooner rather than later?

How to Get Scrolls of Potential
As of writing, Scrolls of Potential can only be obtained from the Tower Rift mode in CookieRun: Tower of Adventures.
By completing the different levels in the Tower Rift, you will receive Scrolls of Potential to unlock the Hidden Power for your equipment.
Each level in the rift rewards you with different types of Scrolls of Potential, and the higher levels give more and better scrolls, so you’d likely want to reach those as fast as possible.
Unfortunately, you can only enter the Tower Rift twice a day, which means that you cannot farm Scrolls of Potential indefinitely. That is why it is important that you unlock the Tower Rift as soon as possible and start grinding out those daily entries if you want to progress your account faster.
We do not know if in the future there will be more ways to obtain Scrolls of Potential, but we are hopeful that we may see this consumable item given out at events or other content.
