Counter-Strike 2 - The 5 Biggest Missing Features
Valve

CS2 has finally been launched, but it's lacking several fantastic features that Global Offensive had. There's no guarantee these features will return, but some are more likely than others. Here's a list of the top missing elements, in no particular order:

  1. Demo Review: Currently, there's no way to watch your matches back in the CS2 client, which is a core aspect of CS gameplay.

  2. Weapon Sway Control (cl_bob): CS2 lacks the cl_bob command, preventing players from controlling weapon sway when moving. Many experienced CS players are used to stopping gun sway while on the move, and this option is currently absent.

  3. Left-Hand View Model: Many players prefer having their gun on the left side of their view, but CS2 doesn't offer this option currently. Hopefully, it will be reintroduced.

  4. Net_graph 1 Command: One of Global Offensive's popular features was the ability to view your FPS in real time using the net_graph 1 command. This feature is currently missing.

  5. 128 Tick Servers: Players miss the superior feel of 128 tick servers, as CS2 currently employs a subtick system. Hopefully, server improvements are on the horizon.
