In Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion, the "Treating Symptoms" gig comes up as you're on a mission to rescue Songbird in the "Get it Together" quest in Dogtown. This quest gets you involved with both a NetWatch member and a Voodoo Boy netrunner.
Should you kill Milko Alexis in 'Treating Symptoms': Venturing into the Voodoo Boys hideout in Dogtown, your aim will be to locate Milko Alexis. This could involve sneaking or a full-on shoot-out. Eventually, you'll come across a group of robots to take down.
Post-battle, in the basement, you’ll encounter Milko alongside NetRunner Agent Alan Noel. A twist? NetWatch has been exploiting Milko as a covert informant, which is why Agent Noel is keen on him staying alive. Your assignment, however, is to "neutralize" Milko Alexis, leading to a pivotal decision: support NetWatch's operations or finish off Milko right away.
You're presented with two dialogue options:
- “Fine, finish your op” - This choice allies with NetWatch, allowing them to continue.
- “Here to protect my client” - Opting for this ends Milko's life instantly.
Both decisions will see the "Treating Symptoms" gig completed. It's essentially a character role-playing moment. But, a little tip? Siding with NetWatch might earn you some extra credits down the line. Dive back into the cybernetic streets of Cyberpunk 2077 and make your choice!
