The original cast like Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges and Léa Seydoux as Fragile will be making a return, now working under a new faction called Drawbridge. Their goal is to reconnect civilizations beyond the UCA network Sam helped build in the first game.

The newly released 10-minute trailer gives fans a taste of the many threats that await in Death Stranding 2. These include a particularly creepy makeover for the villain Higgs as well as a disturbing surgical sequence. We also get a first look at Sam’s new companions, from the talking captain of his mobile base of operations to a tiny puppet that seems to move at its own creepy pace.
