It's been more than 6 months since the release of Diablo 4, and while the game was launched in a rocky state, Blizzard has stayed committed to improving the overall experience based on player feedback. One of these bosses is Grigoire, and not only is he a fun and challenging fight that can reward you with some of the best gear in the game, but he is also one part of the summoning process for Uber Duriel. With Uber Duriel being pretty much the only way of getting Uber Uniques, such as the Shako, it becomes clear why Grigoire is one of the most important bosses to farm in the game. In this article, we are going to show you how you can summon Grigoire while also providing you with the full list of items that can drop from him.

Grigoire Location & Summon Requirements

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint can be found in the Hall of the Penitent dungeon in the Dindai Flats zone of the Dry Steppes. It's just south of the Ked Bardu waypoint so you will be able to access it fairly quickly. Once you enter the Hall of the Penitent, you will have to go through a few packs of monsters before reaching the summoning altar at the boss arena.

Summoning Grigoire requires 5x Living Steel, a resource that can only be found in the Helltide open-world events. All of the different Tortured Offering chests will provide you with a certain amount of Living Steel, with the highest amount dropping from the Tortured Gift of Living Steel chest.

Helltides spawn every hour and last for 55 minutes, with a 5-minute gap that resets the amount of Cinders you have acquired. All of the different chests in the Helltide events cost a certain amount of Cinders to open, with the Living Steel chest requiring 275.

Grigoire Loot Table & Rewards

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint is one of the most important endgame bosses in Diablo 4, as it drops one half of the resources required to summon Uber Duriel. Gathering Shards of Agony is going to be one of the main activities you will be doing if you want to try your luck at getting some Uber Uniques, which are some of the strongest items in the game.
