Diablo 4's third season has almost arrived and it's time for players to reflect on everything they have managed to achieve during the Season of Blood. The game attracts so many different players, from those who just log in for a few hours on the weekend in order to slay some demons, to other who push their characters to the absolute limit, grinding and farming until the end of time. Season 3 is set to launch on January 23rd and in this article we are going to go over everything you should do to prepare, be it things you forgot to complete or challenges you might have missed.

Finish the Season 2 Battle Pass
One of the big things that we are going to lose when the new season begins is definitely the Season 2 Battle Pass. This Battle Pass features 90 tiers of rewards, culminating in the exclusive Awoken Marrow armor set, which also comes with it's own horse armor as the final reward.
The Battle Pass also offers a total of 666 of the Platinum currency, which you can spend on different cosmetics in the in-game shop.
Once Season 3 rolls out on January 23rd, this Battle Pass along with all of the rewards in it will be unavailable forever. Leveling up the Battle Pass happens naturally as you slay hordes of enemies and level your own characters, so the best way to earn the awards is to.. simply play the game.

Finish the Season Journey
Similar to how Diablo 3 worked back in the day, the latest game in the series offers a Seasonal Journey which can push players into the right direction by offering challenges appropriate for their current level of progression of the game. The later tiers in the Seasonal Journey offer a few cosmetic rewards, including a mount, as well as some cosmetics for that mount.
Completing the whole Seasonal Journey will award you with 'Shadow' prefix and 'Vampire' suffix, which you can add as titles to your chosen characters. All of these rewards will also be lost once Season 2 ends, so it's best to get them while they are still available!

Figure Out Your Main For Season 3
The most important question when we are getting close to a new season is always ''What am I going to play next season?'' Some players enjoy changing up their main and going into an entirely different direction, while others tend to stick to the same class over and over. Either way, you should definitely think about this ahead of time, so you don't lose any time once the actual season starts.
New balance changes are sure to arrive, and while we don't have any information yet, we are going to be sure to keep you up-to-date, so you can pick the correct class for your new adventure in Season 3. For more Diablo 4 news and guides, make sure to check out the rest of our website!
