Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred adds a ton of new content to the game, everything from the new Spiritborn class to the Dark Citadel raid is finally available for players to experience. Among these, there is one other throwback to the previous installments of Diablo - runes and runewords. These runes can allow you to create some powerful combinations if you place them in the correct order in your gear, from grouping up enemies in a Vortex, to more defensive options, such as the Earthen Bulwark from the Druid. These runes come in tiers and the strongest of all are the Legendary runes. But how and where can you get them? In this article, we are going to go over how you can find and farm Legendary runes in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred: How to Farm Legendary Runes
Here are all of the different methods for farming Legendary runes in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred:
- Kurast Undercity (Tribute of Harmony): One of the best methods for farming Legendary Runes in Season 6 is by completing the new Kurast Undercity dungeon while having a Tribute of Harmony active. The Tribute of Harmony guarantees that you will receive runes as your reward from the dungeon, and the better the rarity of the tribute, the higher the chance you will receive a Legendary rune. Make sure to use all of your Tributes of Harmony as soon as you get them, as you might get lucky and find some of the strongest runes.
- Pinnacle Bosses: Farming bosses is definitely the fastest way to earn as many runes as possible, as each kill has a high chance to drop at least one. Since this season you get a ton of boss summoning materials, you will be able to farm them even faster than before. Just make sure you join a group for a full rotation, so you get more bang for your buck.
- Mercenary Bartering: One of the new systems in Season 6 is Mercenary Bartering, which allows you to purchase items and caches for Pale Marks. Pale Marks are a new currency that you get passively by leveling up your Mercenaries through combat. You can use Pale Marks at the vendor in the Mercenary Den, which is basically a rotating shop that you can force to restock by using a certain amount of marks. At this vendor, you will be able to find Caches of Runes, which have a chance to contain some of the Legendary variety.
- Crafting: The final way of getting Legendary runes is through crafting. You can use any 3 rare runes and combine them into another one, with there being a 15% chance for it to upgrade to a Legendary rune. You can do this at any Jeweler, but be careful, as this method is entirely random and might result in you losing more runes than you gain.
That is everything you need to know about target-farming Legendary runes in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. Many of these runes are worth hundreds of millions of gold, so being able to find them consistently might just be the ticket to your next big upgrade.
