Diablo 4 Season of Blood has been a hit with players, thanks in large part to its new vampire-hunting storyline. But it's not just the story; many players are praising the game mechanics. Players are excited about the new end-game content, including targeting major bosses for unique loot and the popular Blood Harvest events. These changes have been so well-received that players are openly supporting Blizzard for the improvements.
Given the significant improvements over the previous Season of the Malignant, players are eager to know what's coming next. Here's what we currently know about the expected end date for Diablo 4 Season 2 and the potential start date for Season 3.

Expected End Date for Diablo 4 Season 2:
Diablo 4 Season 2 is likely to end around January 2024. Blizzard has a plan for each season to last roughly three months, with the end date shown in the battle pass - January 23rd. To get a rough idea, Diablo 4's first Season, the Season of the Malignant, began on July 20, 2023, and concluded on October 9, 2023. That was 82 days, so if Blizzard follows a similar pattern, we might expect Season 2 to end in January.

Expected Start Date for Diablo 4 Season 3:
Season 2 began 11 days after the end of the first Season. So, if Season 2 ends on January 23rd, we could expect Season 3 to start somewhere between the end of January and the beginning of February. Hopefully Blizzard keeps making changes to the overall experience of the game, as they have for the Season of Blood.
The new season has already impressed a lot of players with the amount of changes being made based on feedback.
