Does Palworld Have PvP? Multiplayer Options Explained

Palworld's Early Access is finally out, and the game has become an overnight sensation. With over 1 million downloads in just the first 7 hours, the game has far and away surpassed any expectations by the developers and community. Palworld is an open-world survival crafting game, heavily inspired by Pokemon, with over 100 different creatures populating the world that can be captured, killed, or forced into slavery.

With all of these features, along with the ability to use weapons such as a bow or assault rifle, players have been wondering if there are any PvP options. In this article, we are going to go over how the multiplayer works in Palworld and if there is any way to enable PvP.

Palworld Multiplayer Options Explained

Palworld does indeed have multiplayer support, allowing you to invite up to 3 players to join you on your adventure to explore, craft, and catch all of the Pals. If that is not enough for you, you can also create a dedicated server, which can accommodate up to 32 players in the world.

Setting all of this up is pretty simple - just create your own server and invite your friends through Steam or a generated code/password. The developers have also stated that they are planning to increase the player limit in the future, but this feature does not have a concrete release date as of yet.

Does Palworld Have PvP?

Unfortunately, as of this moment Palworld does not feature any PvP options for its multiplayer. The developers at Pocketpair have stated that PvP is planned for a future update of game, which does not appear to be in the near future. With all of the crazy combat situations that the game can create, between the skills of different Pals and the wide variety of weapons available, we fully expect the future PvP mode to be really entertaining.
