We may know very little about what is coming but that doesn’t stop fans eagerly awaiting the return of one of our favorite RPGs.
Rumors and leaked information are all we have to go on right now, but considering during the game awards 2018 we had our first reveal, nothing seemed to go to plan for BioWare. Having scrapped the original version of Dragon Age 4, and coming up with a new plan of action, it still seemed to be a long and slow road.
They may have dropped slivers of information and teaser trailers just to keep us interested, while we can only hope they are creating a masterpiece. But then again, only time will tell.

Everything We Know About Dragon Age: Dreadwolf
We might know very little about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf but here is what we do know;
-
We are told to expect more soon, with BioWare promising a full reveal this summer, but for now, whatever hints and clues we have will have to be enough.
-
We know the main antagonist will be former companion Solas, one of the self-proclaimed gods of Thedas also known as Fen’harel, the Dreadwolf.
-
This next installment will be a constant struggle with the ancient elf as he tries to tear down the Fade, the veil that separates our world and the spirit world.
The combat system in the Dragon Age series has never been consistent, and it seems like it will be changing yet again. Becoming more action-based, some sources have been saying it will be more hack-n-slash than the previous games. Though the combat wheel that we saw in Dragon Age: Inquisition may be returning.
We may not have seen enough yet to be sure, but from what we do know it’s not a combat system we are entirely used to. Whether that is good or bad, who can say?

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf New Maps
Heavily hinted in the latest trailer is that the story will take place in more countries than we originally expected. We always knew Tevinter was going to be an addition and now it seems we will be visiting Antiva, Rivain, and the Anderfels.
Antiva
The short night shot of Antiva we were given shows each of the crowded buildings giving off a warm glow. The lore of Antiva leaves much to be desired but as the Crows have been a part of the story since Dragon Age: Origins, we will most likely be having a long-awaited confrontation with the assassins.
Rivain
We also see Rivain and in the few seconds given, we see what may be ruins or at the very least old stone buildings on rocky terrain with the sun-drenched sea in the background.
The Anderfels
We know next to nothing about the Anderfels, despite it being mentioned often that it is home to Weisshaupt. Finally, we will be traveling to the dark and stormy home of the Grey Wardens.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Release Date
This latest teaser trailer may have left us with more questions than answers but after six years of scrapping and delaying it seems BioWare is determined to release this game.
While we have nothing confirmed, the developers promise to reveal all this summer. Maybe then we will have a potential release date. Until then all we can do is speculate on what form the fourth installment of Dragon Age will be.
