There are many options and paths you can take in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but the most important by far is which class you choose. You can choose from three distinct classes: the Mage, the Warrior, and the Rogue, each offering a unique gameplay experience. Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Best Warrior Specializations Tier List
The Warrior class has three different specializations that you can choose from: the Reaper, the Slayer, and the Champion. Each of these can provide you with a different playstyle, and you can unlock them when you reach level 20. Here is how we rank these specializations based on their power level in combat, from best to worst:
#1 - Reaper
The Reaper is a specialization that allows you to swap between a one-hand weapon and shield and a two-hander on the fly. The main reason why the Reaper is so strong is that it allows you to lifesteal from enemies while also being incredibly tanky. If you play this specialization well, it’s going to be impossible for you to die during combat. This, combined with the fact that you also have ranged options with your improved shield throws, makes it both a very versatile option as well as a very deadly one. The Reaper also focuses on Necrotic damage, and by being as tanky as you are, you’re going to be able to make your companions much stronger as you will not require that much utility from them. Overall, the Reaper is one of the best specializations in the game.

#2 - Champion
The Champion is the perfect middle ground of the three Warrior specializations. This spec focuses on using a one-hand weapon and a shield, being extremely tanky while also providing a wide range of buffs for your companions. It's the most classic 'Tank' role that you are going to find in the game and while it's very strong it does lack a bit of damage compared to the other two Warrior options. Your unique skills are focused on dealing Fire damage and due to the many different party buffs you can use, you can create some very interesting combinations with your companions. Overall the Champion is a really strong option withing the Warrior class and if you enjoy a more sword And board style, than make sure to check it out!

#3 - Slayer
Even though the Slayer is the last on our list from the three different Warrior specializations, it’s still incredibly powerful, and it can easily beat the game on the highest difficulties. The Slayer uses a two-handed weapon and primarily focuses on debuffing enemies, filling up their stagger bars, and going for takedowns. With the right items and companion builds, you can do an outstanding amount of damage, with the main issue being that you don't have many ways to generate Rage, which can create some downtime during combat. Either way, if you are looking to swing a big weapon and pummel your enemies, the Slayer is still a fantastic choice in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
And those were our rankings for the best and worst Warrior specializations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Keep in mind that the difference between these options is not that big, and any of the specializations can beat the game on the highest difficulties—some will just do it a bit easier than others.
