Dragon Age: The Veilguard - How to Change Your Companions
There are currently two ways to swap your companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The first method is through the mission selection screen each time you leave the central hub, allowing you to pick the two companions you want for your upcoming quest. The second way to change companions is by using the Beacons, which serve as the checkpoint system in the game. By finding a Beacon in each mission and interacting with it, you can freely switch companions, giving you the chance to try a different approach for the upcoming battle.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are some situations where you’ll be locked into bringing certain companions, especially during the earlier stages of the game. Later on, the game will open up and naturally allow you to pick and choose whomever you wish. Here are all the different companions you can choose from in Dragon Age: The Veilguard:
- Harding (Rogue)
- Neve (Mage)
- Bellara (Mage)
- Lucanis (Rogue)
- Davrin (Warrior)
- Taash (Warrior)
- Emmrich (Mage)
Make sure you have a well-rounded composition that allows you to do a good amount of damage, while also being able to either heal or sustain enemy attacks. With how many different options there are in the game, we are sure that you will find something that works for your own playstyle.
