Even though every character in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is extremely powerful, there's probably nothing more fun than using the transformation system in the game.

It allows players to fuse and swap out characters, as well as transform whenever they want. In this guide, we'll show you how to use the transformation system in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO.

To transform, hold the D-Pad and press the button that corresponds to the transformation you want to use. However, be aware that every time you go through this process, you'll have to sacrifice some Skill points. You can see the exact amount next to each transformation. Moreover, once you transform, you won't be able to swap out characters for 30 seconds.

If you're playing Saiyans, you'll be able to go back to their base form after transforming, but you'll have to do that anyway if you want to fuse. Keep in mind that the Super versions of Vegeta and Goku cannot fuse when they're powered up. Additionally, characters like Frieza go through their transformation stages separately, and they can't power back down.

Fusion is performed by holding the D-Pad and using the shoulder buttons to switch to the Fusion panel. Be prepared with enough Skill points because fusing is more expensive, but that makes sense since it's permanent.

Although it seems a bit risky, fusion isn't such a bad idea, considering that your character gets more Health and becomes more resistant.

The chase change mechanic allows you to have your incoming fighters perform an attack. To activate it, send your opponent in the air and change to another character as fast as you can. If you manage to do it, you'll hit the other player immediately after.

Unfortunately, this mechanic is not well-developed, and your chances of succeeding are quite low. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, you can check out this article.
