Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree: All New NPCs so Far

Fans finally have more details about the highly anticipated Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Thanks to a recent special event, we have some insights into the upcoming expansion. While we already covered the 8 new weapon types, Elden Ring players will be thrilled to hear about the new NPCs (Non-Player Characters) that will populate this DLC. Here's a look at some of the intriguing characters players will encounter:

Needle Knight Leda

Before even entering the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, after defeating Mohg, players will meet Lady Leda. She will send you on a mission to uncover Miquella's true intentions, setting the stage for the adventure ahead.

Black Knight Commander Andreas

Black Knights are part of Messmer's army, and players will face these dark foes throughout the game. Andreas is an OP summoned spirit who consumes a significant amount of FP. He wields a huge shield and hammer, offering strong support in battle. His faith spells are incredibly powerful, and early testers have noted that he will be an extremely overpowered ally.

Ansbach and Moore

Ansbach is a former servant of Mohg, Lord of Blood. They follow Miquella in the Realm of Shadow now. Moore accompanies Ansbach and resembles the Onion Knight. He is described as a gentle giant and also serves as a merchant, providing valuable goods to players.

Thiollier

Thiollier is a follower of Miquella who is obsessed with poison, evident from the items available in their shop. They are very shy and timid, adding a unique personality to the cast of characters.

Onza and Yosh

Onza has studied the way of the starry blade, and Yosh is his apprentice. Once players defeat Onza, they will receive Yosh's spirit ash as a reward, adding a valuable companion to their arsenal.

Freyja & Hornsent

Freyja is a former follower of Radahn but is now a devoted follower of Miquella. Hornsent can be found alongside Freyja at the Three-Paths Cross in the Realm of Shadow. Talking to Hornsent will provide players with a hand-drawn map that reveals the location of three nearby crosses, which he refers to as "Miquella's footprints."
