Enshrouded Release Date for PC, and Console Release Speculation

Enshrouded is an ambitious new open-world RPG with elements of crafting, base building, exploration, fantasy combat, skill trees, and more! Players are already comparing the game to Valheim, which took the gaming world by storm back in early 2021. Eyes are certain to be set upon Enshrouded for launch day, but when exactly is the game due to launch for every platform? We've got you covered.

Enshrouded PC Release Date:

After a well-regarded demo release in October of 2023, the Early Access edition of Enshrouded will officially release on the Steam store on January 24, with a full release date planned for later in 2024.

It's worth noting that the Enshrouded demo is no longer playable at the time of writing, and that, if you played the demo, it is doubtful that any progress you made on your character will be saved.

Can I use my old saves from the demo or beta builds of the game?

Probably not, Early Access is a much newer build of the game and old saves might present a lot of compatibility issues or outdated content. We recommend starting with a new world and character to avoid any issues!

Enshrouded Xbox Release Date

There is currently no concrete release date for Enshrouded on Xbox, however, an educated guess of late 2024 seems fair. It feels likely that Enshrouded will become available for Xbox at around the same time the full game releases on Steam later in 2024, however, there are as yet no official sources confirming this.

Enshrouded PS5 Release Date

Similar to Xbox, while Enshrouded developers have indicated a PS5 release is on their roadmap, we currently have no exact release date for Enshrouded on the PS5. Enshrouded may release for PS5 at the same time it leaves Early Access on Steam (later in 2024), though this is merely a hopeful prediction.

Furthermore, there are no confirmed plans for Enshrouded to release for the PS4, Xbox One, or the Switch. These plans may change, but console players are likely to be limited to the PS5 or the Xbox Series X/S.
