Enshrouded offers a lot of challenges along with invaluable recipes you can use to make your character stronger and unlock more powerful items and gear.
The Blacksmith Survivor can be a great source of useful materials and armor you can use so you can progress further into the game, however you will need a Smelter at some point in your playthrough.
The Smelter will require you to find the Crucible so we will be showing you how you can get your hands on it in this quick guide.
Enshrouded: Where to Find the Crucible
The Crucible is safeguarded in a mine called Mark of Sameth that's filled with dangerous scavengers. Your best course of action will be to glide west from the Revelwoods Ancient Spire so you can reach the mine as fast as possible. Then, you will need to continue west along the road on foot.
You will see several groups of scavengers guarding the mine. Make sure to defeat all of them and you should then find a Lore book called "Sameth Demands It".

Once you reach the mine itself, you will see a flight of stairs on your left. Head up the stairs and go into the second cave entrance where you will later see a room with a Lore book titled "We Have Dug Too Far". Behind it is a pile of rubble where you can see the Crucible faintly glowing.
You can also farm the area for some Copper while you are there. Once you have obtained the Crucible, you can head back to your base and use it to craft a Smelter.
