The Elder Scrolls Online has enjoyed a steady player base since introducing a yearly expansion model in 2017, and the newest chapter, Gold Road, seeks to continue the game's good fortune. With the return of a long-forgotten Daedric Prince, the addition of the Scribing system, and more, there's a lot to take in. So, here's every new feature arriving with the Gold Road update for your viewing pleasure.

The 'Forgotten Daedric Prince' Story:
Ithelia, a forgotten Daedric Prince, has returned to Tamriel, albeit in a severely weakened state. However, hordes of Daedric cultists are bent on the restoration of Ithelia's memories and powers. This new (old?) Daedric Prince carries with it themes of reflection - literally - personified by hostile servants that appear to be made of shattered mirrors.
The West Weald Zone:
For the first time since The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, players will get the chance to revisit the West Weald zone of Cyrodil. Biomes will include Dawnwood, where the realm of the Woodelves bleeds across the borders of Cyrodil, as well as the mountainous reaches of the Colovian Highlands.

ESO's Scribing System:
The Scribing system, hearkening back to the days of designing your own spells in Oblivion's Arcane University, allows you to acquire unique new spells via Grimoires, and tweak their effects to your heart's content.
Extra content coming with Gold Road includes:
- New public dungeons and delves
- At least 1 new 12-person trial
- New world events
ESO Gold Road: New Class?
Sadly, there do not seem to be any new classes arriving with the ESO Gold Road update. That said, the Scribing system may just do enough on its own to make every existing class feel brand new, so there's still plenty to be hyped about!
