Every Terminid Enemy in Helldivers 2

The Terminids are a fierce enemy that has taken over the eastern planets in your galaxy table. Their forces are made up of eight different types of enemies, each with its own unique abilities and threats. Below, we provide a comprehensive list of these enemy types to help you better understand the challenges you'll face.

Terminid  Description Model
Scavengers The smallest infantry unit of the Terminids. They become deadly when in swarms.  Scavenger.webp
Hunters Slightly larger than the Scavengers, their strength lies in their mobility. They can quickly leap and kill you with their melee attacks.  Hunter.webp
Warriors These represent the first type of armored enemies. Shoot their armor off and quickly kill them before they get close to you.  Warrior.webp
Stalker A large enemy bug that can become invisible. Make sure to destroy their nest to prevent being overrun.  Stalker.webp
Bile Spewer A giant bug that can spit acid and one-shot you if they get close enough. Aim for their backs and keep shooting until they explode.  Bile_Spewer_.webp
Brood Commander A larger version of the warrior. Use stratagems to eliminate them quickly, as they will be accompanied by many smaller Terminids.  Brood_Commander.webp
Charger A giant armored, bull-like bug that charges at players. Designate one player to distract them while the others target the weak spot on their backs.  Charger.webp
Shrieker Shriekers are the flying arsenal of the Terminids. Make sure to kill the Shrieker Nest; otherwise, you will get overrun. The best tactic is to shoot their wing, but be careful because their corpse can kill you during crash landing. Shrieker.png
Bile Titan The pinnacle of the Terminid faction's power. Employ the strongest stratagems to defeat them. Their vulnerabilities are on their back and in their mouth while they are spitting acid.  Bile_Titan.webp

Every Automaton Enemy in Helldivers 2

The Automatons are the enemy that has taken over the western planets in your galaxy. Their forces consist of eight different enemy types, many of which come in various versions equipped with different weapons. Dealing with them is significantly more challenging compared to the Terminids, as they possess long-range weapons, and most are armored, making initial weapons ineffective against them. For a comprehensive guide on how to counter them, check out our article here: How to Beat Every Automaton Enemy.

Here is the full list of every Automaton enemy in Helldivers 2:

Automaton Description Model
Trooper, Raider, Marauder The infantry of the Automatons, equipped with different weapons, can be easily eliminated with grenades or headshots.  Trooper_Raider_Marauder_.webp
Commissar Similar to the infantry, but distinguished by a red sword in their left hand. Target their heads or use grenades for effective elimination.  Commissar.webp
Scout Strider A moving turret robot with an operator on its back. Aim for its limbs or directly at the operator to disable it.  Scout_Strider_.webp
Berserker Robots with chainsaws for arms. Maintain your distance and aim for their heads or use grenades to take them down.  Berserker.webp
Devastator An armored version of the Berserker, featuring various weapon variants for its arms. Target its head or the red core in their chest for a takedown.  Devastator.webp
Hulk Giant armored mechs equipped with various weapons instead of arms. Use anti-armor weapons and stratagems to defeat them. Hulk.webp
Tank A two-tank version exists; one has a weak spot on its back, while the other has no apparent weaknesses. Utilize anti-armor weapons and stratagems for effective engagement.  Tank.webp
Dropship Flying ships designed to rapidly deploy additional Automaton soldiers onto the battlefield. Target the area where they are about to drop reinforcements with stratagems.  Dropship.webp
Gunship A smaller version of the Dropship that can't carry troops. Take cover if it is shooting at you, while your teammates shoot its engines to bring it down. Gunship.webp
Factory Strider The ultimate Automaton unit is a giant moving factory that can constantly deploy new units and transform itself into an Automaton base. Make sure to use everything you've got to bring it down, as it will withstand even the 500 kg bomb. Factory Strider

And that concludes our guide on every enemy type in Helldivers 2. So far, the Automatons seem to be much harder to deal with than the Terminids. However, knowing how to exploit each of their weaknesses will significantly increase your success in the upcoming missions to save Super Earth.
