Fortnite Festival has something extra special prepared for fans! The legends James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, known as the iconic band Metallica, are the Icons of Fortnite Festival Season 4. They bring players lots of skins, fun quests, and goodies to explore!
Fortnite Festival Season 4 starts June 13 with v30.10 and ends August 16, 2024, at 12 AM ET. During this time, players can try out the new Battle Stage, defeating their enemies while listening to their favorite Metallica tracks on the Jam Stage and Main Stage. By doing so, they can also unlock in-game rewards by progressing through the Season 4 Festival Pass.

Metallica Festival Passes
The Metallica Festival Pass features both a free reward track and a Premium Reward Track upgrade, as usual, similar to the Lady Gaga event. Both tracks offer in-game Metallica-themed rewards.
However, the Premium Reward Track includes exclusive James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo outfits! By purchasing the Premium Reward Track for 1,800 V-Bucks, Fortnite players will instantly unlock the Lars Ulrich Outfit.

Battle Stage
Fortnite has an exciting challenge prepared for Metallica fans! Battle your opponents across a four-song setlist to be the last one standing.
Each Fortnite Battle Stage match begins with up to 16 players. They compete to get the highest score on a randomly chosen song from the Festival’s featured rotation. You’ll play the same track as other players but can choose your song part and difficulty. The four lowest-scoring players are eliminated at the end of each song until there’s a single winner!
- What's interesting is that owned Jam Tracks cannot be selected, ensuring no one has an advantage based on their familiarity with the song.

Festival Pass Tab Quests
Fortnite players can complete the Festival Quests for this season by entering the Lobby of a Fortnite Festival experience (“Main Stage,” “Jam Stage,” or “Battle Stage”) and navigating to the Festival Pass via the top navigation!
