How to Get X-02 Power Armor in Fallout 4

To get this new armor, you need to finish the Speak of the Devil quest. To start the quest, you must first reach a certain point in the main story. Once the quest becomes available, the journey begins at the Wattz Electronics store, located in the middle of the Commonwealth. Here, you will find Connie's Note and a holotape revealing the backstory of The Devil, setting the stage for the upcoming adventure.

To the Relay Tower 0MC-810

From there, you'll get a quest marker leading to Relay Tower 0MC-810. This location is guarded by raiders and a fearsome Deathclaw that must be defeated. Once inside the red-gated area, read Richie's Note next to a terminal and grab the AM 810 holotape.

Access the terminal and use the option to fully extend the satellite dishes outside. Then reinsert the holotape and tune the radio signal to the patriotic "Stars and Stripes Forever" march, unlocking the next objective.

BADTFL Regional Offices

Your next destination is the BADTFL Regional Offices building conveniently situated near Wattz Electronics. Fight through more raiders until reaching the back interrogation room where you'll find Connie's dead body on a table.

Loot her remains for a note hinting "Check the Wall" and an encrypted FM 52.7 holotape. Playing this holotape requires either having a Hacker skill of 3 or higher to easily bypass it, or correctly guessing the complex password from the provided list.

Once decrypted, a new objective appears at Relay Tower OSC-527. Here, access the terminal again and load the FM 52.7 holotape data, then transfer the "America the Beautiful" audio file to play the song, revealing the final quest marker location - the Boston Police Rationing Site.

This ominous underground site initially appears inaccessible, with the front entrance barred shut. You can either toss a few grenades at the door to blast it open or utilize a suit of Power Armor's jump ability to access the roof.

From there, descend into the tunnels and follow the path until you come across a radio panel in front of a locked door, with the legendary X-02 Power Armor visible behind it. Activate the radio to unlock the door's security and finally claim your armor prize.

However, the quest isn't over yet. You'll find a terminal nearby that details the intentions behind The Devil persona you've been chasing.

At this point, you must make a pivotal choice: either short-circuit the transmission to kill off The Devil (unlocking a safe with extra loot), or restore the Enclave Radio signal, establishing a new radio station in the Commonwealth.
