During the Xbox Two podcast with Rand Al Thor 19 and Jez Corden, a known Xbox insider, some exciting news was shared. Corden revealed that despite Bethesda's focus on Elder Scrolls VI, Microsoft aims to release a new Fallout sequel before 2030.

One factor making this early release plan more plausible is that Fallout 5 will reportedly use Starfield's engine, which could save a lot of time for the company. Additionally, Microsoft may seek assistance from other studios to aid in development due to Bethesda's busy schedule.

It's in the best interest of both Bethesda and Microsoft to release Fallout 5 as soon as possible. There's a substantial demand for a new title in the series to further explore Fallout's universe. Given the show's success and Microsoft's interests, we can anticipate the game to come out sooner rather than later!
